Ahmet Rasim Anatolian High School is the first smart system high school of Turkey. It was built in 1938 in Çarşamba /Fatih Province. Being in historical peninsula, behind the golden horn its location provides an easy transportation also it s in the center of Istanbul / Fatih which is the cradle of ancient civilizations. With 1024 students and a headmaster with 3 co–managers , 60 teachers and 7 servants feels like a big family. There are 30 classrooms 2 music and art ateliers an I.C.T Laboratory with an internet connection ,physic ,chemist and biology laboratory a library,robotic classroom, a gym, a canteen and a conference hall. There are smartboards in all classes.
As a smart system high school it has water ,natural gas and electric automation system which helps saving energy and water consumption and can be contolled from anywhere in the world. English and German languages are taught as a foreign languages besides social sciences and scientific subjects.Our students are able to study at different departments of universities after they graduate not only with their good grades but also with their social resposibilitiy, cultural and sportive activities they are ready for universitiy educations.

With lifts and disabled toilets it has got all opportunities for disabled persons. We have 11 disabled students whom we apply individualized education program and if they need or request we also give supportive training course. Our school councelor is always in touch with teachers to inform help and lead them about disabled students’ physical psychological and educational needs. As our region is in the centre of city with easy transportation we direct our students association of the handicapped centers.

Renewable energy sources project and nutrition-friendly school project and white flag project are examples for ongoing projects in our school. Ahmet Rasim Anatolian High School has protocols with İstanbul Aydın University, Gelişim University and Kadir Has University which gives opportunity to our students to use the facilities of these universities.
Our school has already been a partner Of a European Comenius Project (Renewable Energy Sources -Efficency,profitable ,acceptance -opportunities Of electro Mobili in 2012-2012- DE3COMO6-27380-4) coordinated by Germany with Spain including students. And we do volunteer to be a partner to any other projects in the future.
